Accessibility goals
Coverage Compass aims to follow widely recognized accessibility practices and work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the site develops.
Current design practices
- Semantic headings and page landmarks
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls
- A visible “Skip to content” link
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Responsive layouts for mobile and enlarged text
- Color choices intended to maintain readable contrast
- Reduced-motion support for users who request it
- Plain-language writing and descriptive links
Known limitations
Some future interactive tools, embedded maps, third-party forms, downloadable documents, or external websites may have accessibility limitations outside Coverage Compass's direct control. The project will identify and improve these issues as they are found.
Requesting help or an alternative format
If content is difficult to access, contact Coverage Compass with the page title, web address, device or assistive technology used, and a description of the barrier. Do not include private medical, insurance, or financial information.

Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time certification. Feedback from users with disabilities will be prioritized in future revisions.
